Charles T. "Charlie" Kresge was born March 9, 1954. He received B.S. in Chemistry from Swarthmore College in 1975. He received a Ph. D. in Physical Chemistry from The University of California at Santa Barbara in 1979. He is currently R&D vice president at The Dow Chemical Company. Charlie is most recognized for his contributions to the discovery and characterization of constrained mesoporous molecular sieves. |
